When The HOTH is the better choice
- You want more than links. The HOTH also sells managed SEO, local SEO, technical SEO, digital PR, press releases, content writing and review management. We only do link building and AI visibility tracking.
- You want a single order, not a subscription. You can buy one Link Outreach placement. Our plans are monthly, so we’re not ideal for one link.
- You have a large AI search budget. AI Discover combines digital PR, earned media, content and link building, with regular strategy sessions, at $1,500 to $10,000 a month.
- You want a long track record. The HOTH says it has served 200,000+ businesses and built 1,000,000+ backlinks, and it has 272 Trustpilot reviews averaging 4.5. We’re new, with no client case studies yet.
- You like free tools. The HOTH lists tools including a rank checker, backlink checker, SEO audit and domain authority checker.
When BuyLinks fits better
- You want to approve sites first. Every month begins with your site list: each publisher, its grade and our reason. Nothing is bought until you approve it.
- You want AI tracking without an enterprise budget. Every plan from $199 includes a monthly check of 25+ customer questions across ChatGPT, Google AI, Perplexity and Gemini.
- You want a fixed monthly price. Each plan has a set price and a set number of placements. You see exactly what was bought in your dashboard.
- You want indexing and link cover built in. We replace placements not indexed within 30 days (The HOTH’s process starts at 90 days) and check every link monthly for 12 months on every plan (The HOTH’s standard cover is 6 months).
- You don’t want to share site access. We never need a login to your website.
Our database covers 199,791 publishers and 682,809 offers, and about 1 in 7 sites pass our checks.
Common questions
Is BuyLinks.ai cheaper than The HOTH?
It depends on what you compare. Our Starter plan is $199 for 2 placements on B/C-grade sites; The HOTH’s lowest Link Outreach tier is $150 for one DA/DR 20+ placement. The grading systems differ, so compare the actual sites. If you only want one link, The HOTH’s single order costs less than our cheapest plan.
Does The HOTH let you approve sites?
Not for Link Outreach. Its page says approval before posting isn’t allowed for that product. With BuyLinks.ai, you approve every site.
Do you offer local SEO or technical SEO?
No. We focus on links and AI visibility tracking. If you need a full-service agency, The HOTH covers more.
Do you guarantee rankings?
No. We promise the work, the link checks and a monthly report, not rankings.
