Can ChatGPT and Google read your website?
Get your AI search readiness score in about 10 seconds. We check what ChatGPT, Perplexity, Bing and Google see when they visit your site, and tell you exactly what to fix.
Free. Takes about 10 seconds. We only read public pages.
What we check
AI crawler access
Whether your robots.txt lets ChatGPT search, Perplexity, Bing and Google read your pages. Many sites block them by accident, often through a security plugin or CDN setting.
Readable content
Whether your text is in the page itself. AI crawlers mostly don’t run JavaScript, so content loaded by scripts can be invisible to them.
Structured data
Whether your site says, in a format machines read, who the business is, where it is and which profiles belong to it.
Direct answers
Whether your pages answer real customer questions clearly. Assistants quote short, direct answers.
Search basics
Title, description, main heading, canonical tag, sitemap, mobile setup, HTTPS and image descriptions.
Speed
How fast your home page responds. Slow sites get crawled less often.
A good score gets you read. Authority gets you chosen.
This check covers what’s on your own site. It can’t score the biggest factor: whether trusted sites mention and link to you. Google and AI assistants lean on what other sites say about a business. In an Ahrefs study of 75,000 brands, mentions of a brand across the web were the factor most closely linked to appearing in Google’s AI Overviews.
That’s what BuyLinks does. We find the searches and AI questions you can win soonest, write the articles and place them on hand-checked sites that fit your business. You never give us access to your site.
Questions
Is the check really free?
Yes. No sign-up and no card. You can email yourself the report if you want to keep it.
Do you change anything on my site?
No. We only read public pages, the same way a search engine does.
Does a high score mean I’ll rank or get mentioned by ChatGPT?
No. It means search engines and AI assistants can read and understand your site. Getting chosen also depends on authority and on what other sites say about you. Nobody can honestly promise rankings.
Should I block GPTBot or other training crawlers?
That’s your choice. Blocking training crawlers like GPTBot doesn’t stop ChatGPT search from citing you; that uses a different crawler, OAI-SearchBot. Blocking the search crawlers does stop them from citing you.
What is llms.txt?
An optional plain-text file that summarizes your site for AI tools. Google has said it doesn’t use it, so it’s a small extra, not a priority.
